Lena Staropoli
Born in Perkasie, PA, Lena Staropoli grew up playing for Deep Run Valley Soccer Club. A 2017 graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School, she was a dual-sport standout, earning First Team All-League honors in both soccer and track. She continued her soccer career at Holy Family University, where she was a four-year starter, team captain, CACC Second Team All-Conference selection, and a four-time All-Academic honoree. Lena graduated magna cum laude in 2021. At HVAA, Lena coaches and trains multiple teams, including the 2011 Union and 2008 Courage girls teams. For the 2025-2026 season, she will also take a new role as head coach for the 2010 Lions.
Most recently, Lena has been appointed to serve on HVAA Leadership team as her role of College Recruiting Director raises the bar for what is possible at HVAA. In the coming year she will continue to lead our organization as Director of HVAA's College Development Program (CDP) and guiding high school athletes through the college recruitment process.
