Devon Swaim
Devon Swaim brings elite-level experience as both a player and coach, having developed talent across every stage of the game. Devon’s playing career began at the University of Tennessee, where she earned SEC All-Freshman honors in 2007 and helped the Lady Vols to multiple NCAA Tournament berths, including a Sweet 16 appearance. In 2008, she helped secure the program’s historic “Triple Crown” — the SEC East, regular season, and conference championships. She later transferred to West Chester University, where she posted a 37-3-5 record, won two PSAC titles, and earned NCAA Tournament berths and All-Region honors. A standout from a young age, Devon was a key player for the F.C. Pennsylvania Strikers, a regular in U.S. Youth National Team camps, and competed alongside names like Tobin Heath, Alyssa Naeher, and Kelley O’Hara. She was a three-year varsity starter at Neshaminy High School, earning Suburban One Player of the Year (2006), PSCA All-State honors, and NSCAA Regional All-American status. She continues to play for HVAA’s Women’s Majors team, HVAA Pride, and remains a strong competitor on the field.
She served as the Academy Director and Girls Youth Director of Coaching at FC Bucks for four years, where she helped elevate teams to success at the collegiate and top-tier club levels. Her coaching resume includes collegiate programs such as Bryn Mawr College, Villanova University, Bucks County Community College, and her alma mater, Neshaminy High School. Since 2018, Devon has coached with EPYSA’s ODP program, leading the 2002 PA East team to a 2019 Regional Championship. Before joining FC Bucks, she was Academy Director at Lower Merion SC, earning the 2017 LMSC Coach of the Year award. She also spent time on staff at UGH. In 2025, Conwell-Egan High School has named her the head coach of the Girls Varsity team.
Furthermore, Devon currently holds certifications from United Soccer Coaches and licenses from USSF for both coaching and refereeing. She coaches our HVAA 2015 Stars girls teams, 2015 Rebels and 2016 Spirit, and is the U7 Futures coordinator. In 2025, she will serve as the head coach of the 2013 Unity girls. Most recently, Devon has been appointed as HVAA’s Youth & Grassroots Director, leading the next generation with unmatched experience, energy, and passion as she makes her mark on the game and the HVAA community.
