Chris Shank has been coaching all levels of soccer, from youth to college, for 24 years. He most recently coached two teams at the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals, coached 09 and 08 ODP, as well as the New Hope Solebury boys varsity team. Chris was the Director of the girls at the Ukrainian Nationals. He took his 2000 girls' team to win state and regionals and placed second in Nationals. Chris has also coached and won the state championship for girls at CB West in 2014 and the state championship in 2010 for the boys at New Hope. He holds his USSF C license as well as his Advanced National Diploma. Chris has been recognized as Coach of the year for high school three times. He started all his years at Neshaminy high school, followed by ESU while playing club soccer for Phoenix and Danubia Majors. Chris started the women's soccer program at Bucks County Community College. He was also a trainer for Total Soccer. He graduated from Temple University with a BS in Health and Phys Ed teaching and his Master of Ed. Chris has been a Health and PE teacher in the New Hope Solebury school district for over 20 years. For the 2023-2024 season, Coach Chris will serve as the head coach for the HVAA Wolves 2009 USYS boys team and the HVAA Lions 2010 girls EDP team.
