Huntingdon Valley AA Travel Soccer Club
Bridgette Alexander
Bridgette’s soccer journey started right here in Huntingdon Valley, where she proudly put on an HVAA jersey at just 9 years old. A 2016 Lower Moreland High School graduate, she quickly made her mark as a standout player and record-breaking scorer, earning BAL All-League MVP honors in 2013 and 2014, multiple First Team selections, and breaking the school’s all-time scoring record with 113 goals. Her talent and work ethic earned her spots on the PSCA All-State and All-Region teams and a place on the All-American Watchlist. Bridgette continued her playing career at the Division I level with the University of Hartford, where she was a four-year starter and team leader, all while earning her degree in Psychology and Education.
Bridgette is passionate about the game and continues to play for the HVAA Women’s Pride team. She continues to be an inspiration for HVAA’s female athletes and coaches, a true role model on and off the field, which led to her being featured in EPYSA’s Touchline Magazine in 2023. She has also served as an assistant women’s coach at Rosemont College and currently leads the HVAA 2014 Independence and 2013 Freedom girls teams and assists the U19 Thunder girls team and U23 Women’s Summer team. She became HVAA’s Communications Director in 2023 and was named Soccer Camp Director in 2024. That same year, she was recognized on EDP’s 30 Under 30 list of promising coaches. In 2025, her work on HVAA's social media earned recognition from EDP, and our HVAA Soccer Instagram account was voted as the best social media account of the year. In May 2025, Bridgette will receive the prestigious honor of being inducted into the SEPA Hall of Fame, a testament to her impact, excellence, and lifelong dedication to the game. Most recently, Bridgette was appointed HVAA Girls Director, where her leadership, vision, and deep roots in the club continue to elevate our girls' program and inspire the next generation of players. Bridgette coaches with purpose, not just to give back but to pave the way for future generations. She’s fully committed to building a lasting legacy at HVAA and shaping the future of the special soccer club she’s proud to call home.
