HVAA In-House Basketball - Drills & Skills Event

On Saturday, November 18, 2017, HVAA is hosting an exclusive Drills & Skills event at Lower Moreland High School. We have a special guest instructor - "The14th female member of the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters...Bria Young." Must wear sneakers and bring your own basketball.

2nd through 5th grade Boys & Girls - 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM

6th through 8th grade Boys & Girls - 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT, YOUR CHILD MUST BE REGISTERED FOR HVAA'S IN-HOUSE BASKETBALL 2017-2018 LEAGUE.

In addition to this being a 'Shake-the-Rust-Off' event, we are also going to help Bria Young Basketball achieve their Shoe Drive goals.  Would you ever thing that your old shoes could help combat juvenile delinquency?  Well, they can and here's how.  Shoes will be donated to developing nations such as Ghana, Haiti, and Bolivia, which will in turn help Bria fund a free youth basketball camp for inner city children in the summer of 2018.

**As an added bonus for helping out with this truly worthy cause, Bria will stay after each session and take pictures with each kid that brings in an old pair of shoes to donate.  Her Foundation is 1/2 way to their goal of collecting 2,500 pairs of shoes by November 30th.  Please join us on November 18th for some fun basketball instruction, and let's help Bria push that number closer to her goal of 2,500 pairs!"

Do you still need to register your child for HVAA's In-House Basketball League? Click here to register for the 2017-2018 basketball season today! If you have any questions, email Bob Santora at basketball@hvaa.net.
